Le blog de Sécham » C'est beau, c'est simple, Sécham.

After two weddings and one engagement photoshoot it was time to give you some news of our small family.

We are doing all fine. The doctors are really satisfied with Ketsia’s condition which means that the summer should be quite « calm ». Ketsia is still dependent on the feeding pipe but shows a real interest for food, which is really important if we want to get rid of that pipe one day. Please stay faithful in your prayers for Ketsia, as the summer holidays will also mean a lot a car riding for us, which is not really Ketsia’s favorite thing.

Till now we could really enjoy the sun with a week-end at Center Parcs (Port Zélande) and time at the beaches of Kijkduin and Scheveningen. Life in the Netherlands can be really sunny and enjoyable. You should definitely come along.

The coming weeks will be quite full for me which means that I am not sure when the next blog post will come, but stay tuned because beautiful things will be in front of my lens in the late summer season (the 100th fan’s gift photoshoot, a wedding in France, a wedding in Germany and who knows what will cross my way…).

By the way, did you notice some changes in the blog? I wanted it to be clearer and more simple. I hope you like the new blog layout.
Have a blessed summer season !!

And now comes the second part of my wonderful Bavarian week-end with Carol&Tore’s engagement shooting.

I met Carol at EADS when I was writing my final thesis for my engineer degree. It was a great time and with a couple of friends we were known as the prison break team. Don’t think it was something dangerous it was only just our call to go for lunch…

I know that Carol loves photography and as I planned to be in Munich for Astrid&Paul’s wedding, I asked Carol if she was interested in a photoshoot with Tore… She found the idea great and for me it was the occasion to meet her handsome fiancé.

It was kind of a challenge for me as Carol is a huge fan of Jose Villa and I am just Sam, still learning a lot about photography… But you know what? I love challenges and these two beautiful people were just perfect in front of my lens. We had a great time and end the session with a drink at the really nice Park Café.

I hope you like these pictures as I do. If you’re interested in a photoshoot don’t hesitate to contact me (I’ll be again in Munich beginning of September… and I loooove Munich) and please feel free to comment and give me your feedback.

I am back from my lovely week-end in Bavaria and this is the first part of my Munich adventures: Astrid&Paul´s wedding.

A dream comes true… This was written on Astrid’s and Paul’s wedding invitation and to have been the witness of it was like magic. You could all day long really feel the happiness of the bridal couple and all the guests. I hope you can also « feel » it through the following video and following pictures.

I enjoyed every moment of this international wedding: I met a few known faces, got to know a lot of nice people, spoke French, English, German, ate tasty food, made a lot of jokes, could also tell Ketsia’s story to my « tablemates » and from time to time took photos that I hope please you. I did not feel like a wedding photographer but really like a wedding guest.

The music was again great thanks the Band White that I already saw a few years ago in my favorite Munich cocktail bar. If you’re going to marry in the Munich Area and are searching for a band, please have a look to their music. They are just awesome.

Stop with the talk and let’s place to the video and pictures. Thanks again for reading my blog and do not forget to comment, like Sécham (as it is still my beginning as a wedding photographer I really appreciate some feedback).
