I know that everything’s gonna be all right…

« Don’t let this world mislead you
don’t you ever go astray
trust in God’s word and believe it
because it will never pass away »

As I’ve already written in a previous post, we are thankful for the timing. Surgery took place around our wedding anniversary. Our wedding verse is Jeremiah 29:11 « For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. » We want to trust these words which carried us these last years and especially the past week.
Ketsia has been released from the IC. The MRI-scan did not reveal any big problems. She began to open her eyes and to speak again and she even started to smile again.

This smile is like a sunshine after all the troubles and pain she went through. Home is still far away but is coming nearer and nearer. A drain had to be placed, as too many water was noticed in her right lung but we’ve just heard that almost everything went away so that the drain may also be taken away today. This will be painful but will be a step further to full recovery.

How many time will Ketsia remain in the hospital? We don’t know but we believe that everything’s gonna be all right because HE’ll do as HE promised.

Here again some prayers points:
– That the drain can be taken away soon
– For Ketsia and her fear
– For the recovery and the rest of her stay at the hospital

Thanks again for you thoughts and prayers,
love,

Sam and Lisa
