Bertina and Aaron are great people and I am glad to be able to call them my friends. I have to smile a little bit when I thing about how I became their « wedding photographer ». It all started when I landed on Bertina’s first blog. She had a dream: to become a photographer and guess what: she is now (check her website Bemind Fotografie and follow her on facebook). I started to post over photography, sharing the little knowledge I had. Then we met and I lent her my 60d.
In the mean time I heard and read about Aaron, at that time her fiancé and nowadays her beloved husband. A great « lovestory » of two really different people but who are linked by a very strong bond. Indeed more than being my friends, Aaron and Bertina are my brother and sister in faith. Their living faith in Jesus is a delight for our eyes and our ears. I am also so thankful for their prayers for our daughter Ketsia.
On last Friday they came over to our place and after some formal stuff for the coming wedding celebration we went to Scheveningen for a quick photoshoot, while my lovely wife was cooking for us (I love my wife). We enjoyed then a yummy diner and great talks.
