Beside the candi gathering and all the quality time I had with new and old friends, I also quite spontaneously planned two engagement photoshoots. These quite short sessions are very important for me and have also great advantages for my couples. In addition to shoot/get nice pictures, these are special moments when my couples and I are getting to know each other better. We are kind of getting close in every ways:
– I like taking close up with my 35mm which means that the lens will be like 20cm away from them;
– We are kind of opening ourself. I love listening about the love story of my couples and telling them mine with Lisa (I truly love to reminder me that story and tell other people about it).
– My couples are getting more confident in front of the lenses and they can experience the way I shoot photo.
So if you are reading and are getting married, make sure that your wedding photographer offers an engagement session, because it would be win-win for everybody.
But let us go back to Natalie and Alex for now. I met Natalie at church during my Munich time. If you follow my blog for a couple of years you may recognize her from my Iceland trip two years ago… Time flies.
I heard about Alex about one year ago and met him shortly for the very first time last september and now I have the honor to be their wedding photographer.
As my trip to Munich was quite spontaneous and shortened by the Lufthansa strike, we had to improvise. We head off to Hofgarten in the city center.
For their first time in front of lenses, Natalie and Alex were just awesome! I just cannot wait for their wedding in August.
