8 months, still 2 teeth and almost on her 4…

Ketsia is now 8 months old and it was about time to give you some fresh news… I find it everyday amazing to see how quick babies can develop.. Yesterday was Ketsia still so tiny and now she’s already a little girl with her own personality… She knows exactly what she wants. She understands everyday a little bit more and loves playing peek-a-boo as you can see in the video below.

On the video you can also see that the feeding pipe is still here. She’s has been training to learn how to eat with the spoon and has made a lot of progress. Nevertheless they are not sufficient to remove the pipe. It’s quite a tough time but she is giving her best.
On May 21st Ketsia will have a CT scan because the surgeons want to see her heart more precisely. There are still some small defects and the resolution of the echographies is not sufficient to deliver an accurate diagnosis in order to decide what she next steps should be.

We are again in a wait-and-see situation but we are God so thankful for Ketsia who is such a lovely and joyful little girl. We also thank you for reading our news and praying for us. We will give you more news after the CT-scan but till then enjoy the pictures we took last week.
